The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman decided to make a pretty bold statement this offseason when letting Corey Crawford walk. To start, it meant that the Hawks didn't believe Crawford could deliver for the salary he was requesting and it was also one of the many signs that they were officially rebuilding. Crawford ended up signing with the New Jersey Devils but decided to retire before even playing a game. After all of that the Blackhawks didn't really do much to address the goalie situation and have been rotating between Malcolm Subban and Kevin Lankinen. On the season the Blackhawks have given up a 3.00 goals against per game average and it sounds like they're looking to sign some help. According to Elliotte Friedman, the Blackhawks are one of the teams looking at signing Arvid Soderblom who's currently playing for Skelleftea in Sweden. The 21 year old was never drafted to the NHL and currently holds a 2.04 goals against average and .922 save percentage in Sweden. Would you like to see the 21 year old signed by the Blackhawks?
