There's been plenty of speculation about the newest team in the NHL's name, and there may have been some rumors put to rest with this leak.
Forward Clayton Keller was on the road with the NHL North American Players Media Tour, and a question about the Utah HC's secretive name was thrown his way.
Keller would without hesitation, answer the question and you know what they say, "loose lips, sink ships".
"Yeti" has been one of many names speculated for the Utah HC's name choice, along with the "Blizzard". But this of course has set the internet abuzz as fans are wondering is the real name or if it's a guess.
With the hype surrounding the move recently, there's no timeframe of when we'll know the truth. The team has decided to keep the name under lock and key during their inaugural season. Maybe they want to keep the name under wraps due to the short time before the purchase of the Arizona Coyotes and the Utah HC debut or maybe the branding isn't finished just yet.
If you're a bit of a skeptic, this is still a way of ensuring the profits roll in, as they have a set of inaugural season jerseys going nameless, and another set the year the name debuts.
Is Keller dropping truth bombs early or is he as ignorant as the rest of us?
We'll see in due time.
