The Chicago Blackhawks officially part ways with another player in free agency
The Chicago Blackhawks will let another forward walk into free agency, as former Tampa Bay Lightning forward Tyler Johnson walks.
The Blackhawks benefitted from Raddysh's 20 goals, a career year in 2022-2023 and he couldn't replicate it unfortunately.
He would mention that he'd love to stay with the Blackhawks which seemed like he found a home here in the Windy City, but tomorrow as of July 1st will become a free agent.
Taylor Raddysh will be a UFA. He's a defensive third line-ish winger. #Blackhawks
Sounds like Taylor Raddysh will NOT receive a qualifying offer from the Blackhawks. Deadline for those is today at 4pm CT.
In 73 games played with the Blackhawks this season, he scored 14 points( 5 G, 9 A), and maybe a change of scenery can spark his offensive nature lost from 2022-2023, which saw him post 37 points(20 G, 17 A).
Raddysh played as a defensive forward this season, adding penalty-killing to his resume, making him a valuable add to the next team which signs him.
