With players like Kevin Korchinski, and Connor Bedard already made it into the NHL lineup, they have depth in the AHL that are just as ready, should their time come.
That is, Cole Guttman who is currently in the AHL helping the IceHogs continue the push into the Calder Cup playoffs.

Guttman has been selected by the AHL as the player of the month, having a big month playing 12 games with the Rockford IceHogs, posting 22 points(11 G, 11 A) in that timeframe.
His totals during the timeframe for the Icehogs, in 36 games played this season are 39 points(16 G, 23 A) as well, as playing 27 games with the Blackhawks this season.
Guttman is the former Captain of the Denver Pioneers who helped the team win the 2022 National Championship. He has 69 points( 32 G, 37 A) in 75 games with the Rockford IceHogs over his first two seasons with the team.
He was originally selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning during the 2017 NHL Draft and would be signed by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2022.
