As he laid there for roughly 10 minutes, Kupec was stretchered off the ice and was sent to hospital immediately.
Another QMJHL player was taken off on a stretcher tonight, Samuel Kupec from the Armada.

The 18-year-old who plays for Blainville-Boisbriand Armada Is a defenseman who was a teammate of Montreal Canadiens star
Juraj Slafkovsky as both men are from the country of Slovakia.
According to eliteprospects.com, Kupec stands at six foot 3 and 209 lbs who has spent most of his hockey career overseas with team Slovakia. This will be his first year in North America with the Quebec major junior Hockey League and through 19 games, he has four assists with 14 penalty minutes and is a + 1.
