Yesterday, the hockey world suffered a loss as former QMJHL goaltender Creed Jones had passed away at the age of 24.
The announcement came from his former team the Rimouski Oceanic where he had two stints with the team. The cause of death was a motorcycle accident.
Creed Jones hockey career began with the Wellington Dukes in 2017 with the OJHL to which he moved to the QMJHL and played for the Gatineau Olympic for three years, remove ski for two different years and the Saint John Sea Dogs for 2020-2021.
His final team was with the University of Ottawa in 2021-2022. This news certainly a shock for many as he was well liked throughout his teams and passing away at such a young age.
In this difficult time, we want to extend our condolences to the Jones family and their friends.
