BREAKING: Gary Bettman issues surprise statement on the fate of the Coyotes in Arizona
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman spoke about the Arizona Coyotes in a recent statement, catching the attention of Quebec Nordiques fans eager for updates.
Despite the buzz, Bettman's comments during a special press conference on Wednesday, March 20, didn't provide much new information.
"Gary Bettman mentions that there is nothing new in the Coyotes' case. He adds that he continues to believe that Arizona remains an excellent market for hockey in his eyes,"
Speculation about the Coyotes possibly moving to Salt Lake City, Atlanta, or even Quebec continued, with some hoping for a clear announcement.
However, Bill Daly had a different message, stating the following:
"The Arizona Coyotes will play in Arizona next season, even if they are not able to purchase the land put up for auction (Phoenix) in June. Any potential relocation will have to wait another season,"
