Breaking news strikes Blackhawks legend Corey Crawford
The CHGO Blackhawks Podcast is excited to announce that they will have a special guest on their show this Thursday.
The guest is a former Stanley Cup champion who will be making a comeback appearance on the show.
This Thursday at 2:30 PM, the trio of hosts, Jay Zawaski, Mario Tirabassi and Greg Boysen, will welcome Corey Crawford to the show.
The podcast is available on various platforms, including YouTube. The hosts will provide updates on Crawford, who recently put his West Loop condo up for sale in late January.
Crawford, a Blackhawks legend, retired nearly three years ago in January.
Even though he signed with the New Jersey Devils in 2021, he decided to end his career with the Blackhawks rather than lace up his skates for the new team.
It appears that he lacked the passion to continue playing the game.
During the podcast, we will have the opportunity to catch up with Crawford and learn about what he has been doing since his retirement and what his future plans are.
Crawford is a legendary figure in the Blackhawks franchise, playing 13 years in the NHL, playing 488 games, starting 473 of those, winning 260 of those and losing 162.
He has a career save percentage of .918 and 2.45 GAA.
