The Blackhawks will have no representatives in the All Star Game, as it was announced that Kyle Connor and Vincent Trocheck are going to take Connor Bedard and Jack Eichel's place.

But the question arises after that announcement: why not Jason Dickinson?
Jason Dickinson has been having a breakout season thus far, with 15 goals and nine assists, tallying up to 24 points in 46 games. Dickinson even recently tied Bedard's amount of goals. Jason recently signed a 2-year contract with Chicago, as he has been a key part of the success this season.
The only reason Jason didn't get into the All Star Game is politics. Connor and Trocheck are more well-known than him, so the NHL decided to throw in them instead of giving Dickinson the Blackhawks representative spot to replace Bedard, which he rightfully has earned. And it's a shame.
