Chicago Blackhawks officially send a forward packing
The Chicago Blackhawks made a move today, sending forward Brett Seney to the Rockford IceHogs.
Seney, 26, played in four recent games with the Blackhawks. In Rockford, he's doing well, ranking second in scoring with 21 points (8 goals, 13 assists) in 29 games. He's also the top guy for power-play goals, scoring six.
The next game for the IceHogs is on Friday, Jan. 12, against the Grand Rapids Griffins at Van Andel Arena, starting at 6 p.m. CT.
The Rockford IceHogs shared the news, welcoming Seney back and giving a shoutout for his solid performance on the team.
