However, it seems that Bedard is getting bored as he has been spotted on ice skating again in the United Center today.
This is good news as his recovery continues, but Bedard will still not be available to the team until mid to late February, as per the 6-8 weeks timetable for his recovery.

We assume this means that Bedard is ok to skate for now.
It was reported that Bedard was so eager to practice that the Zamboni driver at the United Center kicked him off the ice today before the New York Islanders' morning skate.
This is not the first time that the team has considered removing Bedard from the ice, as Luke Richardson previously joked about paying off the Zamboni driver to get him off the ice.
«Yesterday, I almost had to give the Zamboni guy 50 bucks to get him off the ice because he stays out there maybe too long after practice.»

Bedard's passion for practicing and playing hockey seems unwavering, even during his recovery.
Connor Bedard is an NHL All-Star, who has played 39 regular NHL season games, posting 15 goals and 18 assists for 33 points for the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Chicago Blackhawks will look to improve an abysmal 13-30-2 record this season, with a win against the New York Islanders.
