Nick Foligno Comments on Jonathan Toews' Past in Chicago
In a recent chat, Blackhawks veteran Nick Foligno was asked about the prospect of becoming the team's captain.
He kept it simple, saying:
"I don't get too caught up in that. It's a tremendous honor. The captain before me, in Jonathan Toews, wore it better than anyone. It's a storied franchise, and any guy would be honored to wear it. But that's not why you're coming here. You're coming here to make a difference."
Foligno's take reflects a focus on contributing to the team's success rather than personal accolades, acknowledging the legacy of former captain Jonathan Toews.
