Blackhawks budding superstar Connor Bedard took another step in his career with the NHL as it was announced yesterday that upper deck released a new series of his card to the public.
Avid card collectors will be on the lookout for the new Connor Bedard young guns card of 2023-2024 series 2 which features the rising superstar. His card has been a lightning rod for value as his rookie card was released on March 6th of this year which took no time to be worth over $1 million.
Bedard had a turbulent but interesting first season in the NHL has given Blackhawks fans hope as the young gun continues to build and grow his game. He also faced some adversity in his first year as he suffered a broken jaw in the second half of the season.
Through 68 games, he scored 22 goals with 39 assists for 61 points which should garner him the Calder trophy as rookie of the year. General manager Kyle Davidson will be quite busy throughout this summer and upcoming season as he attempts to move the roster forward and potentially move the Blackhawks up the standings.
In the meantime, Bedard who experienced the World Hockey Championships in Prague will get some much-needed downtime while continuing to workout and build his size and strength.
