Bedard issues statement on Blackhawks' medical staff

Connor Bedard had high praise for the team's medical staff and doctors as he returned to the NHL ice after healing from a broken jaw.
When asked if he had been aiming for his return to be last night's game all along, Bedard stated:
Probably earlier personally. But you've got to be safe and smart, and we've got good people working, so I trust them. I was ready to go today, so I was excited."
His words prove that he has trust in the Blackhawks' medical team, showing the importance of safety and proper recovery, which is sadly uncommon with some NHL organizations nowadays as injuries are mistreated.
