Last night was a big moment for the Chicago Blackhawks as rookie sensation Connor Bedard made his return to the ice.
After almost a month out with a broken jaw, Bedard got the go-ahead to join his team in their game against the Pittsburgh Penguins and star player Sidney Crosby.
Though the Blackhawks lost the game, seeing Bedard back in action was a really special moment for the team and its fans.
Even though they didn't win, having Bedard back on the ice was a great feeling for everyone involved with the Blackhawks.
Bedard's comeback also got attention from the NHL itself. They shared a message on social media saying, "We've missed watching you play, Connor. 🏒"
This shows how important Bedard is not just to the Blackhawks but to the whole NHL community. Bedard finished the game with one assist, and it was a pretty one!
