this Thursday at TD Garden in Boston, there's talk of a VIP guest possibly gracing the event.
Bill Guerin, team USA General Manager, expressed his excitement about the possibility of President Donald Trump attending the game during an interview with Fox News.
«It would be great to have President Trump in the stands,» Guerin said. «Our team is packed with proud Americans, from the players to the coaches and staff. We're all here trying to do our country proud.»
Reports are swirling that President Trump has plans to make his way to Boston for the final.
This morning, sports reporter Darren Dreger mentioned the following:
'It is expected that President Trump will make his way to Boston, he may be there already, and he will be at that game, that's the expectation, that's what I was told likely yesterday.'
Meanwhile, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was spotted cheering on Team Canada in their recent face-off with Team USA in Montreal, and was booed.
President Trump appears ready to witness the Canada-USA rivalry firsthand at the tournament, after visiting Matthew Tkachuk and the Florida Panthers just a short time ago.
It looks like the entire Florida Panthers team deliberated dressed like President Trump today.
