Blackhawks Connor Bedard sends message to Chicago Bears Caleb Williams

The new NFL season has begun this weekend with the Chicago Bears ready to change their fortunes and to challenge for a Super Bowl which has led Chicago Blackhawks superstar Connor Bedard to relay a message to the team.

In his video on IG live, Connor Bedard explains that new Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams must be enjoying himself in one of the best sports cities in the world and that Bedard will only select the bears as the favourites and a team to watch.

It's clear that Bedard has embraced the Chicago sports scene as he was wearing a Chicago Bulls hat while shooting this video. Bedard is hoping to capitalize on his rookie year and to take his game to the next level as his Chicago Blackhawks will be strengthened by several moves made by general manager Kyle Davidson over the summer.

Davidson had added several forwards including Tyler Bertuzzi and Teuvo Teravainen along with Alec Martinez and TJ Brodie on defence with Laurent Brossoit in goal to help add veteran depth.

The Blackhawks organization as well sent their best regards to their NFL counterparts as the photo was taken with both mascots standing side by side.

It remains to be seen on how Bedard and Williams will do in their seasons but it's safe to say that the Chicago area is buzzing with star-studded talent on two of their favorite sports franchises.
