Blackhawks forwards Tyler Bertuzzi and Ilya Mikheyev make surprise appearance at Chicago sports game
Two of the newest arrivals in the Chicago Blackhawks organization decided to show up and show support for the Chicago Bears, with rookie QB Caleb Williams.
The Bears would have a successful outing, with Bertuzzi and Mikheyev present as they defeated the Titans 24-17.
Bert and Mikheyev have proven to be a good luck charm already off the ice, so here's hoping the two are just effective for the Hawks on the ice.
Mikheyev arrived from the Blackhawks for a fourth-round pick in the 2027 NHL draft. He came in a package deal with another former Blackhawk Sam Lafferty. His current AAV is $4.75 Million and will be UFA at the end of the 2025-2026 season.
While Bertuzzi was a free agent and was put on the scent of the Blackhawks by Nick Foligno.
Bertuzzi was due a raise from the Toronto Maple Leafs, which Brad Treliving wouldn't pay, and is a 4-year $5.5 Million AAV deal.
