Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson won't be allowed to attend 2025 NHL draft in Vegas
Thanks to David Pagnotta and The Fourth Period, we have an idea of the next NHL Draft in 2025 will take place.
It's been said that Los Angeles will be the next frontrunner for the 2025 NHL Draft, and in a change of vibe, GM Kyle Davidson will not attend, as no general managers will be 'in person'.
This is an odd change of pace for the NHL, who generally has a table full of a team's front office, to make decisions, trades, and wheel and deal during the day.
This sounds like, will be a major cultural change for the NHL Draft itself, of course, players will have the excitement of being drafted, but it is a little more impersonal considering the decision maker who drafted you isn't there.
This would begin the decentralization of the draft, to what purpose? We don't know just yet.
