It is no secret that Patrick Kane will be returning to the United Center as a member of the Detroit Red Wings.
Chris Chelios' jersey will also be retired before the game on Sunday. Starting at 3:00 PM, expect an exciting evening full of stories.
The Blackhawks are preparing for an electric atmosphere tomorrow as the Chris Chelios and Patrick Kane storylines converge.
"That's the one of the games I looked at before the year like, 'When is this game coming?'"

Luke Richardson recalls Chelios' hard work and his respect for his former opponent as he worked on and off-ice to be the elite player he always was. He lost in 1992's conference finals with the Edmonton Oilers to Chelios-led Blackhawks.
It will be a game of consequences as well as an epic battle between Patrick Kane and Connor Bedard.
Kane's return should provide fans with a lot of nostalgia, as the three-time Stanley Cup winner is expected to create a great deal of excitement.
The battle starts when Chelios' jersey is retired and the puck drops at 5 PM, as Connor Bedard looks to establish himself as the Blackhawks' new leader.
As the Detroit Red Wings are coming off a 6-1 win against the St. Louis Blues, Bedard is going to have to be on his game if he wants to put a damper on the team's playoff hopes.
