Blackhawks Name New Captain of Organization And a Player is Stripped

Over the past several weeks, Dickinson has become a popular figure amongst the Blackhawks and the fan base, and many people feel that he should be part of the leadership group as he is one of the veteran presences amongst the Blackhawks roster.

His role on the Blackhawks has been he bought him 6 role to which he has adopted well and has had two solid 30-to-35-point seasons with the Blackhawks. Last season he played all 82 games and scored 22 goals with 13 assists for 35 points and was a + 4 with 43 penalty minutes.

This season, through 39 games he has scored seven goals with six assists for 13 points it has been a - 2 with 12 penalty minutes. There has been a recent drop in his production potentially due to the coaching change and a change in how interim head coach Anders Sorensen envisions his role.

But it's safe to say that giving him the A on his jersey has been well appreciated online and around the arena.

Dickinson will likely be a trade target for many teams looking for secondary scoring as he has provided that with a team that has been less than stellar.

With the Blackhawks not playing well this year and have been in the basement of the standings, a player like Dickinson will catch attention from contending teams looking to add to their roster.
