While Frank Nazar's NHL totals for his career: 14 games played, with 3 points scored(1 G, 2 A) with 8 PIMs. ' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Frank Nazar may be in the Chicago Blackhawks lineup, don't expect it for too much longer. He'll be sent down to compete in the AHL All-Star game.

The Chicago Blackhawks have benefitted from Frank Nazar's presence in the lineup. He's a great skater, and forecheck and has the ability to create plays on the ice.

This season with the Blackhawks he's played 11 games, and scored 2 points( 2 A), while in the AHL prior to the call-up he scored 24 points( 11 G, 13 A) in 21 games with the IceHogs.

Now with the All-Star nomination, he'll have to return to the AHL to make an appearance while the NHL is on break.

Chicago got a small preview of what Nazar is capable of at the end of last season when the young center played three games and scored a goal. Since the Blackhawks brought in a bunch of veterans to bolster the lineup in the summer, it didn't give the younger players much of a chance to make the team if they still had waiver exemption, Nazar included.

According to CHG Sports Mario Tirabassi, the Blackhawks will send him to the IceHogs while the NHL is on break for the Four Nations Face-Off. He could be sent down at the end of January at the earliest.

If you're concerned about the Blackhawks losing Nazar to a waiver claim, don't be.

Both Nazar and Slaggert are exempt from waivers next season. They have to play their way onto the team while the more-established players will have to play their way off the roster.
