It was announced yesterday that Chicago Bulls legendary basketball player Michael Jordan has found a buyer for his mansion in Highland Park IL.
This mansion which stands at 56,000 square feet of indoor space and covers nearly 8.4 acres Has been up for sale for over 12 years.
The mansion has been listed at $14.9 million since 2017 which is a far cry from its original listing price of $29 million in 2012. The buyer is unknown and what the actual cost was paid but it's safe to say that he is going to get one incredible home especially owned by one of sports legendary figures.
This home was built in the mid 90s when Jordan and his ex-wife Juanita Vanoy were together. Jordan has been living in Jupiter FL since 2013 and has been enjoying his retirement. Jordan appears to be obsessed with buying homes as he had spent $35 million in Jupiter and $16.5 million to buy another home which sits next to the Trump National Golf Club.
It's been mentioned that he has paid $1.8 million in property tax even though he no longer lives at the residence. Those numbers are certainly high to the average person but with Jordan's recent sale in 2023 of the Charlotte Hornets which was sold for $3 billion, it's safe to say the basketball legend continues to enjoy his riches.
