The Chicago Blackhawks Connor Bedard has no chill, as today on the ice at Wrigley Field, he makes Paul Bissonette, look stupid.
Of course, the task in itself isn't difficult as the NHL Analyst, and ex-enforce has been chirped relentlessly by Brad Marchand this season.
But now, we have footage of Connor Bedard dangling, and stick-handling the puck in a way that looks Biz look like an amateur!
This, of course, is a testament to Bedard's skills, and the lack of Bissonette's talents, which typically extended to protecting his teammates on the ice.
You have to appreciate the edgework while he keeps the puck away from Paul Bissonnette, and pay attention to how slow Biz is.
He obviously plays Beer League nowadays!
You can see how with ease Bedard picks a part Biz, and how easy it is for the Blackhawks 1st overall in 2023 to cut through NHLers past and present like butter.
What you have here on video at Wrigley Field is a player who accumulated 340 PIMs during his entire career, and only 22 points( 7 G, 15 A) during his six-year stint.
And Connor Bedard, a player who has not even reached his peak yet in the NHL.
This is his sophomore season under Head Coach Anders Sorensen, and he looks absolutely confident on the ice today.
Bedard has played 37 games this season and has scored 32 points( 10 G, 22 A). He could strike first against the St. Louis Blues tonight if his point streak(6 points in 5 games) continues.
Bedard Issues A Statement on the Winter Classic
Bedard issued a statement on the Winter Classic and how he feels about the atmosphere emanating from Wrigley Field.
"We're lucky to get to play in one of these," Bedard said. "Obviously at home at Wrigley, it's going to be pretty special. I'm just excited to get to see what it's like, see the atmosphere, and just kind of enjoy it."
The game is set to be a classic, and the highlights are already starting with this one!
