Chicago Blackhawks fans start new hashtag to fire member of the organization
Blackhawks fans have begun a new hashtag in Twitter to have Blackhawks alternative governor Jamie Faulkner fired from her job.
Fans have felt that Faulkner has not lived up to her role in changing the culture of the team and improvement as she was named the president of business operations on December 16th 2020. Their primary role in her job is to advance the fan experience and business model while generating new revenue through strategy and operations.
The fan experience has not been great since she has taken over the role and according to some fans, it appears the team is more concerned about being politically correct and terrified to say anything rather then standing up and being the team that they are.
Besides the issues off the ice, the Blackhawks hope that the experience will turn a corner as they stand to pick second overall in this year's draft and continue to fill out their prospect pool.
It remains to be seen on what general manager Kyle Davidson will do this offseason as he will chase free agents and helped bolster the lineup as the Blackhawks prepare to move forward in Hopes to be in a playoff team again.
Once that happens, the fan experience should improve quickly.
