Many NHL organizations, the teams take their logo extremely seriously entered downright superstitious when it comes to mishandling the logo. The Chicago Blackhawks are one of those teams and they have felt that it was necessary to place the logo on the ceiling as a form of prevention from eager by standards who do not pay attention to where they're standing.
This notion of someone stepping on the logo occurred last preseason when Connor Bedard was being interviewed and it was noticed a young reporter walking across the logo to which he was quite displeased and shaking his head while someone in the room shouted to get off the logo.
The NHL and its players take pride in their uniforms and their logos as like all professional sports it's their identity and who they play for which are the fans of those cities. My opinion the Blackhawks can do whatever they like and if this is the way they feel it should be handled and it avoids those headaches and stressors that may bother them I'd say there's nothing wrong with it.
It's quite possible this could lead to other teams looking at the option as they may feel it will help them as well.
Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks are set to play against their old rival the Detroit Red Wings in which Bedard will showdown against Showtime Patrick Kane and Alex Debrincat. Game time will be at 8:00 PM eastern and it will be held at the United Center
