The Chicago Blackhawks will be getting another veteran presence back this pre-season, as he has been cleared to play.
Taylor Hall, 32 years old, will be coming back and will be playing this pre-season. Hall tore his ACL early on last season and had surgery that took him out for the year.
Taylor had two goals and four points in the ten games he played last year.
He was traded by the Bruins over to the Blackhawks last off-season. Hall's best season was when he had 93 points in 76 games with the New Jersey Devils in 2017.
A former first overall pick, he may have fallen down the depth chart a little bit. He was supposed to be linemates with Connor Bedard, but his chemistry with Nick Foligno and Philipp Kurashev shined, as well as the additions of Tyler Bertuzzi and Teuvo Teravainen. He may be coming back on the third line.
The Blackhawks should be happy to get Hall back, as he adds a boost to the bottom six half of the team.
