Connor Bedard's teammate catches him with his head down and pays the price
The Blackhawk's prospects will have to show up big-time in training camp and make a name for themselves.
If they hope to secure a spot in the opening night lineup, they will have to compete with veterans at every level in the process.
Which includes wingers and defenseman such as Isaak Phillips, and Samuel Savoie who made a huge play during practice today.
Phillips would lay the body on Connor Bedard near the point, and create a takeaway on the ice. Phillip's team would shortly lose possession, but Bedard's team shot the puck down into the defensive zone, which led to recovery by Phillip's team which resulted in a goal by forward Samuel Savoie.
The prospects are hungry this year, and will be fighting for a spot on the lineup, if this play shows us anything.
It appears, that Isaak Phillips is feeling the pressure with Alec Martinez, and TJ Brodie's arrival.
He did play a solid stint in Chicago last season playing 33 games last season and posting 6 assists.
Will Savoie and Phillips make the opening night roster? We'll find out.
