Connor Bedard is not pleased over a recent trade in the hockey world on Thursday involving his former teammate and good friend

Chicago Blackhawks Connor Bedard is facing off against the Florida Panthers tonight at 8:30PM at the United Center, but a blockbuster trade in the hockey world sure did not keep him off of social media.

Bedard's junior career was spent in Regina in the WHL with the Pats Hockey Club, and Bedard developed several close relationships throughout his time of maturity in Junior Hockey.

Friendships like Andrew Cristall, who was drafted by the Washington Capitals in Connor Bedard's draft year, grew further than just the game of hockey.

That was the same with Bedard and Tanner Howe's friendship, who was drafted 43rd overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Howe still remains in Junior with the Regina Pats where he serves as the teams captain, or should we say 'served' after a blockbuster trade was completed today.

The Regina Pats sent their Captain Tanner Howe to the Calgary Hitmen in exchange for four-assets in return, two players and two draft picks.

Bedard is not happy about this trade as he responded swiftly on social media, despite being a game day for the Blackhawks, he took time out of his day to comment on the matter and voice his true feelings.

Connor Bedard posts a «:(« after his good friend was traded away from the Regina Pats

It's a rough time for Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks, who are dead last in the NHL.

Being held to only 3 goals this NHL season, Bedard is clearly in a slump, and i believe a coaching change is surely needed shortly to rejuvenate Connor Bedard's game.
