First player of the Blackhawks to be traded has just been identified by NHL insider Chris Johnson of TSN

With five goals and eight points in his last 10 games with the Chicago Blackhawks, Taylor Hall's trade value has just skyrocketed even more than it was during last years NHL trade deadline.

The former Hart Trophy Winner has moved up in NHL reporter Chris Johnson's trade candidate list, now sitting at #12 throughout the NHL.

Hall only has one season left on his contract as he wraps up his four-year, $6M deal with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Fans have not experienced much of Hall due to his torn ACL surgery which ended his 2023-24 season, limiting him to just 10 games with the Blackhawks.

Starting off with only 10 points in the 2024-25 NHL season, a healthy scratch by the Blackhawks' head coach at the time, Luke Richardson, raised eyebrows.

But it ended up paying off, lighting a spark underneath Hall.

Hall turned 33 years old on November 14, but shows no sign of decline- especially after an ACL surgery? Hall shows no wear and tear.

The tricky part is Hall does have a 10 team list of teams he cannot be traded to, in his no-trade clause agreement within his contract.

As of late, Hall has voiced his happiness with the organization and comfortability in Chicago with his family. Hall, in a latest episode of behind-the-scenes footage, revealed that he purchased a house just a few blocks away from Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs.

Despite Hall being happy in the city, the Blackhawks clearly will put that past them- displayed by forcing Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews out of the city.
