This 37-year-old MLB player was well-known, making 280 regular-season appearances over 9 seasons.
Matusz's career begun in 2008 where he started as a starting pitcher for the Orioles after the team drafted him 4th overall.
His success as a starting pitcher was limited, as he had a record of 17-31 before being moved to the bullpen, where he continued to pitch for majority of his career.
Matusz had a career record of 27-41, pitched 528 innings and had a 4.85 earned-run-average. He ended his career worth 2.5 wins above replacement.
In 2016, he received a world-series ring with Chicago Cubs, although this proved to be the last of his career, Matusz proved himself to be a valuable athlete.
