We are saddened to learn the passing of a 26-year old hockey player, Tobias Eder.
He has sadly passed away after his fight with cancer.
We regret to inform you that Tobias Eder, forward for Eisbären Berlin in the top-flight German league, and member of Germany's national team, has passed away at the age of 26 after his fight with cancer.
Over the course of his career, Eder had 68 goals, 129 points through 263 games played in the DEL - and 5 goals, 9 points through 27 games played with Germany's national team.
He will be dearly missed.

The DEB mourns the loss of Tobias Eder. The national player and striker for the Eisbären Berlin died at the age of 26 after a serious illness. We are stunned and shocked, we are at a loss for words. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family and friends.
