Kyle Beach issues new surprise statement on coach Joel Quenneville
Several NHL teams such as the Ottawa Senators, Buffalo Sabres, New Jersey Devils, Los Angeles Kings and the Seattle Kraken are all in search of a new head coach or have made firings this season within their coaching staff.
This leaves only a few big named coaches left in search for a job, such as Jay Woodcroft, Todd MacLellan, Gerard Gallant and Dean Evason.. but one name that stands above all still remains, Joel Quenneville.
Quenneville has not coached in the league since 2021 following allegations from his time with the Chicago Blackhawks.
Gary Bettman has not openly stated Quenneville is able to return to coaching, but has made it clear he'd be willing to have a conversation on the matter with the coach as he makes an attempt to return to the NHL.
Although Bettman has not given his word, Joel Quenneville's daughter has recently released a major statement online involving Kyle Beach.
Anna Quenneville publicly stated that Kyle Beach personally gave his blessing to Coach Q in his return to the NHL.
For those asking, Kyle called my dad after he went on @andystrickland podcast and he gave him his blessings to coach again.
It certainly says a lot that Kyle Beach himself gave coach Q his blessing, and it'll be interesting to see if this has a big impact on his return to coaching.
Coach Q's daughter has issued a statement, it can be viewed below:
