Major News Regarding Pat Boyle's Blackhawks Career
The Chicago Blackhawks will be making a major change in 2024, as the rights to broadcast games expire soon. The team will collaborate with the Chicago Bulls and White Sox, to usher in the Chicago Sports Network in 2025.
However, don't fret as beloved analyst Pat Boyle will remain in the transition to CHSN and continue to add value to the Blackhawks' pre and post-game broadcasts.
He would later confirm this on Twitter:
Boyle has spent the last 20 years covering Blackhawks games on Comcast Sportsnet aka NBC Sports Chicago and has become inextricably linked to Blackhawks hockey. This should be welcome news for many Blackhawks fans.
Powers indicated that more hires are likely to be announced in the new few weeks to join the newly formed CSHN, along with Caley Chelios and Chris Chelios.
There may be additions or substractions, but nothing official yet.
For now, we can expect Rick Ball to take over for Chris Vosters on play-by-play duty.
