The Chicago Blackhawks have traded forward Taylor Hall to the Carolina Hurricanes as part of a developing three-team deal, according to Elliotte Friedman.

Reports confirm that the Colorado Avalanche have traded star winger Mikko Rantanen potentially to Carolina as part of the trade.

The trade of Mikko Rantanen in the deal makes this one of the most significant trades in recent memory. Martin Necas, is being traded by the Carolina Hurricanes.

A third-round draft pick, the Blackhawks receive in exchange for giving up Taylor Hall.
