NHL Analysts P.K. Subban and Mark Messier know about winning, and today they suggested Anders Sorensen should bench Connor Bedard for his lack of 200-foot play.

The Chicago Blackhawks have to get more out of their elite player, Connor Bedard.
Bedard has looked invisible today on the ice, as today the Blackhawks haven't been able to keep up with the Florida Panthers.
A team that they typically have no problem beating, but today they've looked underwhelming.
After Landon Slaggert's goal in the first period, Bedard and company seemingly checked out of the game. While Petr Mrazek stood on his head once again, he failed to receive any support.
NHL Analysts P.K. Subban and Mark Messier had an easy suggestion for Anders Sorensen to help get a message to Bedard.
Bench him.
Teach him to play a 200-foot game. More importantly, bench him as Philadelphia Flyers Coach John Tortorella did to superstar Matvei Michkov.
They believe there should be consequences for Bedard's lack of production, and defensive play.
Honestly, it's hard to disagree as Bedard does need more time to develop. Seeing as he's played top-minutes this season a reset might help him get peace of mind, and see where he's gone wrong.
Take an outside perspective in and see where he can contribute on the backcheck--an area he's never been great at--and how it could positively affect his game.
Bedard has played 52 games for the Blackhawks, scoring 45 points (15 G, 30 A), but he has yet to develop a full 200-foot game.
