Blackhawks reporters face controversy

In a recent episode of the CHGO Blackhawks podcast, Greg Boysen and Jay Zawaski takes their aim straight at Gary Bettman of the NHL as the league refuses to build a new site for the soon to be defunct capfriendly.com.

Recently, the news broke that the Washington Capitals had purchased the beloved site by many NHL fans. Capfriendly.com gave in depth information regarding contracts, term, draft picks, salaries and many more pieces of information that gave fans an in-depth look.

The Capitals announced that the site would go dark after July 5th when the sale is complete. But as the podcast wore on, both hosts jumped on the NHL and Gary Bettman telling their listeners at the NHL wants to keep fans stupid.

This is not the first time that these hosts have looked at certain videos online an either made fun of it or called out the person who made it. During a broadcast on May 2nd, the hosts went after a Leafs fan who had a detailed man cave but made complete fun of the person and his social life.

It remains to be seen on whether the NHL will do anything towards this show and these hosts but they're certainly not letting up on their rants.
