According to reports the Chicago Blackhawks have a future top-line winger in Colton Dach.

Another appealing trait of his is his shoot-first mentality. He has a great shot. On paper, Dach feels like an ideal future linemate for Connor Bedard because he can retrieve pucks, be a net-front presence, shoot the puck, and protect Chicago's franchise cornerstone.

However, he isn't future Hall of Famer, and former Chicago Blackhawk winger Steve Larmer.
Larmer was a right-winger, who spent 13 years of his NHL career in Chicago, playing 891 games, scoring 913 points( 406 G, 517 A) while wearing the Blackhawks crest.
However, he has never gotten a nod to the Hockey Hall of fame or even had his jersey retired with the club.
Given that Luka Reichel has just given up #27 for #73 it doesn't seem far off that this could be a possibility.
Out of respect for the people preceeded Dach, the gesture to Larmer would ultimately gain him more amongst more old school Blackhawks fans undoubtedly.
However, Tab Bamford is asking a lot of someone, whose still a prospect in the system.
