Surprise scene involving Jonathan Toews with Chicago Blackhawks and he's back
The Chicago Blackhawks were blessed with Jonathan Toews presence recently, after going radio silent after February.
He would make an appearance on X.com wishing his former UND teammate Ryan Duncan, well on his last shift with his alma mater.
Since then Toews has been a shut-in, and honestly, who could blame the three-time Stanley Cup champion He has his right to privacy, he's accomplished it all three times.
Since he's taken time off of hockey to recover from health issues, he hasn't stepped away from the game fully as he has appeared in pictures with former Blackhawks defenseman, Chris Chelios.
Toews showed up at the Chris Chelios School of Hockey to offer perspectives, mentorship, and help to Squirt and Peewee players.
Who could say no to that legend? Toews may have stepped away from the game, but not the community!
The Camp happened from Monday, June 17th to Thursday, June 21st.
Captain Toews may not have been present for Chelios' jersey retirement and Patrick Kane's return, but he made an appearance here. Let's hope it's an indication of the future for Toews.
