The Blackhawks Goalie Who would Win a Hart Trophy
As a franchise, the Chicago Blackhawks have only seven Hart Trophy winners.
Of the winners, Bobby Hull, and Stan Mikita, are two-time winners of course, and then comes Max Bentley, winning the Trophy in 1945-1946.
However, the odd-one out, a goalie for the Blackhawks is one of only 7 goalies in NHL history to win the award.
1945-46 Max Bentley, C
1953-54 Al Rollins, G
1964-65 Bobby Hull, LW
1965-66 Bobby Hull, LW
1966-67 Stan Mikita, C
1967-68 Stan Mikita, C
2015-16 Patrick Kane, RW
Al Rollins won the Trophy during the 1953-1954 season, which Rollins started and played in 66 NHL Games.
His record during the 53-53 season was: 3.21 GAA, 12-47-7 while no save percentage was available for Rollins this season.
He would play in the All-Star Game this season as well.
Despite all of this, as of 2020 his is eligible to be inducted into the Hall of Fame as a Hart Memorial Trophy winner, and still hasn't received the honors.
