Maple Leafs Matthew Knies Dating top United States female hockey player

Pictures have recently surfaced on Instagram that Maple Leafs forward Matthew Knies has been traveling through Europe with his new girlfriend, USA hockey player Ella Huber.
According to eliteprospects.com, Huber Is currently playing for the University of Minnesota of the NCAA. During last year's season, she played 39 games, scored eighteen goals with 24 says for 42 points with 30 penalty minutes and is a + 29.
Knies has been traveling Europe in Rome and in France with Huber as he prepares himself for a new season that's on the horizon. The Maple Leafs star forward is looking to see his career take another step forward as he has shown that he will be an elite top six forward for this team within the next couple of years.
The 21-year-old left winger played eighty games last season, scoring 15 goals with 20 assists for 35 points was a + 9 with 45 penalty minutes. It's likely that new head coach Craig Berube will find him a key role to thrive in as the Maple Leafs will begin to adjust to their new coach's style.
But for now, he along with Huber can enjoy the rest of the summer as training camp is set to begin in mid-September.
