The Chicago Blackhawks next captain revealed?
The Chicago Blackhawks are still building their foundation, as a young team in the NHL.
As draft picks trickle in and are signed, they will need a leader as they move from their NCAA, CHL, and KHL careers into the NHL.
What better than a player who has learned from the best, in
Connor Bedard?
Bedard is currently the Calder Trophy favorite with 60 points( 22 G, 38 A) in 66 games played during the 2023-2024 regular season.
Some people would disagree and say he has to get another year in to settle into the team.
However, he handles media scrums just fine and would be helped by players like Foligno and Murphy to grow into captaincy, should Kyle Davidson place the "C" on Bedard next season?
Given that he is, the face of the franchise and a passionate player on the ice Davidson should make that decision.
However, the leadership core on ice is easily recognized and Foligno is that guy, can Bedard be that guy too?
