The Chicago Blackhawks have many great prospects, as Frank Nazar has been disqualified from the All-Star Game, and Cole Guttman has been elevated.

The Chicago Blackhawks expected Frank Nazar to make it to the AHL All-Star Game coming up in February.

Now, with his promotion to the NHL roster, he's been disqualified from playing in the game. The IceHogs have had to shift priorities, as forward Cole Guttman will take his place instead.

Guttman has played spectacularly in the AHL, scoring 33 points (16 G, 17 A) in 35 games for the Hogs.

This follows a 2023-2024 season, where he scored a career-high 40 points in the AHL.

Guttman's nomination to the All-Star Game is not a surprise as he's been effective at every level of the game.

He's played 41 games in the NHL between the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024. Guttman has served as a call-up before.

Will this nomination make him one of the next Blackhawks prospects to be called up, following Frank Nazar?

Either way, Cole Guttman will represent the Blackhawks well in the AHL All-Star Game.
