Chicago Blackhawks fans were mocked by the Utah Hockey Club after they changed a WIFI network name to get under their skin referring to one of the Chicago Bulls iconic players Michael Jordan hated plays.

The jab was towards Michael Jordan's winning shot during Game 6 the 1998 NBA Finals when it was determined that he pushed off Byron Russell which led the bulls to win another championship. It appears Utah fans are still bitter about this after all these years and in 2024 with every fan having a smartphone looking for free Wi-Fi they felt it was a great way to jab Blackhawks fans.

There has been much excitement and hype for the opening game of this season between these two clubs as the Blackhawks look to improve from last year with
several signings that were done over the summer.

The Utah hockey club will play their first game in their history at home at the Delta Center after owner Ryan Smith made a deal between former Arizona Coyotes owner Alex Morello and NHL commissioner Gary Bettman. The atmosphere in the new NHL home was electric as fans have gravitated to this team and looks to be another winning market as the building was full and the fans are on their feet.

The Blackhawks unfortunately lost the game 5-2 with Taylor Hall and Connor Bedard looking dangerous at times and getting good looks against UHC'S goalie Connor Ingram. The Blackhawks hope to have a better outcome as they begin a three-game Canadian swing which starts on Friday October 11th when they play against the Winnipeg Jets.

Game time will be 8:00 PM eastern.
