Yesterday, it was announced that forward Ryan Hartman was going to have a hearing for unsportsmanlike conduct on Saturday's game against the Vegas Golden Knights. It was more than likely he was going to face a suspension.
Today, the NHL Department of Player Safety announced that he is going to be suspended without pay for three games.
Hartman threw his stick in the direction of the officials after the overtime loss against the Vegas Golden Knights, possibly in retaliation to the missed high stick call on him.
This makes a grand total of $138,000 of docked pay due to fines and suspensions for Ryan (seven fines and four suspensions).
Since he's a repeat offender, the DoPS doesn't give the former Hawk much grace in these types of situations.
Even though the tensions are high as Minnesota is in a Wild Card race, you cannot do that.
