On Friday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs earned their first win of the preseason, but a huge price was paid throughout that game against the Montreal Canadiens.
Recently signed Maple Leafs forward Nick Robertson attempted to give linemate William Nylander a 'speed boost' with his stick, but resulted in Nylander crashing to the ice, colliding with a Montreal Canadiens player in a scary manner.
Nylander then left the game, and tensions/concerns have been high for Leafs nation ever since.
A Toronto Sun reporter has came forward revealing that former John Tavares stated he heard it is not too serious, according to teammates.
Then hard-headed, head coach, Craig Berube gave a very direct approach to the situation in his post-game interview.
Leafs nation grasps and hopes that Nylander is ready for opening night, oddly against the Montreal Canadiens.
