The Bruins disrespect goaltender Jeremy Swayman with a new messy report

Don Sweeney and the Boston Bruins could be in a precarious position this preseason.
Ryan Whitney and Paul Bissonnette of the Barstool brand podcast "Spittin' Chiclets" have taken heat from the Bruins GM.
Could they be vindicated?
Whitney went on X.com and said that the Bruins had lowballed starting goalie,
Jeremy Swayman and disrespect the goalie.
Sweeney would later fire back calling them the "Spitting Up" podcast, and claim they didn't know what they were talking about as that information regarding negotiations is private and unknown to reporters.
Ryan Whitney of Spittin' Chiclets responded to recent comments from Bruins' GM Don Sweeney when he aired his frustrations about what he deemed lies regarding the Bruins not talking to Jeremy Swayman or picking up the phone to negotiate. Whitney says he knows for a fact that the Bruins lowballed offered Swayman and completely fumbled these negotiations
Sweeney was referencing to a recent episode of the Spittin Chiclets podcast (he called it the 'Spitting Up on Yourself' podcast earlier in his availability), where co-host Ryan Whitney revealed what he was told was the B's most recent offer and added that the club had not returned Swayman's calls in weeks. (Note: I was admittedly not familiar with this report when Sweeney cited it as a spcific, and said as much.)
«I will tell you, I don't listen to podcasts,» Sweeney said. «My son loves [Paul Bissonnette]. I thinks he's a great entertainer. But at the end of the day, they're inaccurate. And that's OK because that's all part of the business nowadays. It's OK if you turn around and say it's your opinion or your belief and such, but don't report it as fact. That's all I'm asking.»
Which is it then? It seems as if the contract negotiations have gone on longer than they should've between Swayman and the Bruins.
If
Joonas Korpisalo doesn't end up panning out, as Sweeney hopes for he'll be put in a vice and have to give in to Swayman's contract demands.
This whole situation has been a dumpster fire since Sweeney decided the best idea was to ship
Linus Ullmark up north.
Now, the belief is that Swayman is digging in and Paul Bissonette said that if Joonas Korpisalo isn't playing well to start the season, the team may have no choice but to bite the bullet and pay Swayman what he wants. The hosts said that Sweeney is frustrated by the way all of this has gone and he's just taking out his frustrations on their show.
It sounds like maybe, Bissonnette might not be wrong, despite all of Sweeney's indignation.
Swayman is the legitimate starter in Boston, with a 25-10-8 record, 2.53 GAA, and a .916 save percentage.
