Auston Matthews Misses Key Playoff Games Due to Health Issues and addresses them.
Auston Matthews, the star center for the Toronto Maple Leafs, recently shared why he couldn't play in two important playoff games against the Boston Bruins. Matthews, a crucial player for the Leafs, had to miss Games 5 and 6 because he got hurt in Game 4.
Matthews was already feeling sick when he got a "weird hit" in Game 4. This hit happened during a mix-up with Bruins defensemen Charlie McAvoy.
The impact was tough on Matthews' right knee. People think he might have damaged his MCL or LCL, which are important ligaments in the knee, in the clip below:
