NHL reporter reveals suspicious details seen at draft lottery today
So it has been cast in stone, that the San Jose Sharks will be picking 1st overall, securing a chance to pick Macklin Celebrini.
As a reporter who was present during the lottery, witnessed something funny as the process took place.
According to ESPN Reporter Greg Wyshynski, the system isn't perfect but this is the first time for the NHL, where they had a redraw for the lottery.
During the lottery taking place, the San Jose Sharks won the draws the first three times, and then the Blackhawks won the 4th drawing for the 2nd overall pick.
It sounds unprecedented, but not in a good way if this is how the drawing is to be from here on out.
Why would they need to draw a 4th time?
Is there any legitimate explanation from anyone in the league? Or are fans supposed to just hold their wallets open again and nothing changes?
The Chicago Blackhawks will be picking 2nd over during the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
