While many teams currently in the NHL playoffs have 30 goal scorers on the roster, like the Florida Panthers, Edmonton Oilers, Colorado Avalanche, and New York Rangers, Kyle Davidson should prioritize offense.
With both Jason Dickinson and Connor Bedard leading the team in goals this season with 22, to continue to evolve into a playoff squad the Blackhawks should look into not Macklin Celebrini, but Cole Eiserman.
Eiserman has unfortunately fallen in the draft rankings recently, going from 5th to 13th according to BlackhawkUp. The problem with Eiserman is his lack of consistency, but what he hasn't faltered on is his goal-scoring in the US NTDP.
In 56 games across two seasons, he has scored 53 goals against players 3 years older than him as well, as a 16 and 17-year-old.
Eiserman's own .94 goals per game is even better than Wisconsin's own, Hobey Baker Award Winner, Cole Caulfield.
Eiserman is going to join Blackhawks prospect Ryan Greene eventually at BU and already has NHL size at 6 foot, 196 lbs.
Eiserman could be fast-tracked into the NHL as soon as next spring as well. Eiserman could bring the scoring abilities the team needs as an elite scorer, and Davidson has primed the lineup for a level of skill and compete needed to be lethal offensively.
With the Blackhawks owning the Tampa Bay Lightning's 1st round pick, Esierman could be a good selection if he falls to 13th.
